Ladies Fellowship
We will be meeting tomorrow, May 24th @ 7:00. Please bring some personal care items (shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, etc) for a hamper we will be bringing to Genesis House. There is a basket in the foyer for the items.
We will also be having a baby/wedding shower next Sunday, May 30th @ 2:30. The shower is for Agnes (Zoe), Tina (Sophia), and Irina Giesbrecht. If you would like to contribute to a larger gift for Agnes or Tina, please talk to Sara T.
Food Cupboard
Please note that we now have a box in the foyer where we can donate non-perishable food items for the Food Cupboard. Let’s make this a part of our worship as we seek to meet the needs of the poor around us.
Wyliffe Bible Translators
Wycliffe Bible Translators will be at Grace Mennonite Church on Friday, May 28th at 7:00 pm. Sharyn Thomson, Bible translator in Burkina Faso, Africa, will be speaking and showing pictures. After studying at Canadian Institute of Linguistics, Sharyn is to return to Africa this summer. Also present will be Vern Penner (Wycliffe Church Relations, S. Man.) who will briefly talk about Wycliffe Cafe, a mission challenge that engages youth and young-at-heart to get together for mission reporting and involvement.
Winkler Bible Camp
Want to see what summer camp is all about? Winkler Bible Camp is having Family Day on June 6th! This is an open house day where you can come participate in all of our activities for free! Activities will open at 2 pm with a barbeque at 5:30. No registration required, just show up! For more information, call the office at (204) 325 – 9519.
