Thursday April 14, 7:00 pm: Wycliffe Bible Translators’ Jeremy Hawbaker speaks at Grace Mennonite Church.  Jeremy and his wife Kara taught ESL at the UofM until their twins were born a year ago.  Jeremy continued from April to August.  He and Kara are to teach at the SIL (an arm of Wycliffe) school in N. Dakota, both having had previous mission experience. They are also close to an overseas assignment with Wycliffe.  All are welcome There will be a finger-food snack.

Come to an evening seminar with David Ingram from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.  It takes place Thursday (14th) from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Bethel Bergthaler Mennonite Church.  David will provide direct information about what BGEA wants to do in an evangelistic effort called Rock the River in Winnipeg, in partnership with Manitoba churches.  All outreach volunteers and people with a concern for evangelism and relationship building with the community should come.  There is no registration fee to attend.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe will be presented by Flatlands Theatre Company April 14-16th @ 7:00 pm and April 17th @ 3:00 pm at the PW Enns Concert Hall.  Tickets are available at the Concert Hall Box Office or call 325-5600 during office hours; online at www.winklerconcerthall.ca and at the door.  Come out and enjoy the story of Narnia retold in a beautiful and imaginative way.  Suitable for all ages.  For more details about the show, go to www.flatlandstheatre.com.

The Eden Foundation would like to invite you to the Winkler Community Male Choir’s Easter performance on Saturday, April 16th, 7:30 pm at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 252 6th Street, Winkler.  Come and be blessed by the choir’s message of HOPE as they perform Easter songs and songs from their newly released CD, ‘He Never Failed Me’.  An opportunity will be given to support Eden’s Mental Health Recovery programs.  For more information check Eden’s website www.edenhealth.mb.ca   or call 204-325-5355.

Candlewick Players invite you to join us this Easter for this enjoyable and contemplative drama considering the Gospel of Mark. BookMark tells of Mark and his Gospel.  With a small cast playing multiple characters, BookMark helps to celebrate this Easter season. Performances are April 19-20th @ 7:30 pm at the Morden EMM Church and April 22nd @ 10:30 am at the Cornerstone Church in Crystal City.

The Fisher Bay Bible Camp Annual Banquet will be held in Steinbach on April 27th at 7:00 pm.  Tickets cost $10.  Please talk to Jerry or Mary Martens if you would like to attend.

Winkler Gospel Group presents “This is My Story” – A Celebration Sing Along with local Gospel groups and a mass choir.  This will take place Sunday, May 1st @ 7:00 pm at the Winkler Mennonite Church.  Come and bring a friend.  A free will offering will be received with proceeds to Winkler Bible Camp, Pembina Valley BIble Camp, and the Bunker.
