Upcoming Community Events
Attention kids in grades 1-6! Kids Zone, a free children’s ministry of Winkler Bible Camp has started and you’re invited to join in the fun! KZ is a high energy time of games, prizes, singing and an exciting teaching time held at the WES gym. It goes from 10:00-11:30 a.m. and will run every Saturday morning until December 10. On Thursday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m., everyone is invited to a Southern Gospel Concert by Legacy Five at Winkler E.M.M.Church. Tickets are available from the Winkler Bible Book Shop or the E.M.M.Church.
Buhler Hall, Gretna Mb, presents on September 24th and 25th, a dramatic comedy, “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” based on the best-selling novel by Robert Fulghum. The show begins at 7:30pm each night and tickets are $10 adults and $6 students under 18. Tickets are available at 327-5891.
MCI Student Council is putting on a fundraising supper, “Raising Money for Hope” on Sunday, September 25th starting at 5:30pm. This event is intended to help feed the children of HOPE COMMUNITY CENTRE in Kenya, Africa. HCC is an orphanage located in rural Kenya. Situated at the foot of the Aberdare mountain range (180 km north east of Nairobi), HCC is the home for about 150 students, ranging in age from 6 months to 18 years old. Please join us for Kielkje, schmaundfaht and farmer sausage at MCI in Gretna!
