Upcoming Community Events

The Singing Hills, a family music team who enjoy presenting Gospel music, will be in concert at the Winkler E.M.M. Church on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:30. Admission is FREE and a love offering will be received. The group has travelled for many years and been much appreciated.

Wycliffe Bible Translators’ guests, Thursday evening, October 13, at 7:00 at Grace Mennonite Church, Harold and Anne Penner, have served for years in the Philippines mostly in education of missionary children. Harold is son of the Penners, who for years operated the Winkler Dry Goods Store; Anne is from Winnipeg. All are welcome.

Come to a musical fundraiser concert for Canadian Foodgrains Bank, featuring the Canzona ensemble with Catherine Daniel and the Central Manitoba Youth Choir. Winnipeg: October 15, 7:30 PM, Westminster United Church. Winkler: October 16, 3 PM, Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church. Free admission; an offering will be taken. HAVE A GOOD LAUGH! Leadership Ministries is again sponsoring a comedy night at the P.W. Enns Centennial Concert Hall on October 21st, 2011 starting at 7:30 PM. Award winning Comedian, David Ferrell from Raleigh, NC will headline this evening of family entertainment. Tickets are $22. plus GST and are available online or at the box office. Call 325-5600. All ticket sales will go in support of the Pembina Counselling Centre.
