The dates proposed are September 16th through December 9th, 2014.  Notices to register for the program will be announced in early August. For further information and/or to register for the program, please call Walter and Lynda Siemens at 204-362-3980.

ATTENTION PARENTS: On February 26, from 7-9 pm, in the NPC Gym, Marv Penner (cpyu.org) will be giving a seminar on Helping Hurting Kids. This is a free seminar (sponsored by local businessmen) specifically for parents working with Hurting Kids. Whether you think you have a hurting kid or not, please Make the time to take in this wonderfully equipping seminar.

Marv Penner is an internationally-known author, professor, motivational speaker, and youth ministry expert. He is currently the executive director of All About Youth and oversees the Canadian Center for Adolescent Research, an organization which conducts research on Canadian youth culture. Do you have an hour a week to make a difference for a child in your community? Our mission at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morden-Winkler is to provide mentors to children who need a mentor. We can think of no one better to mentor a child than people of faith. Currently, we are looking for In-School Mentors and Big Brothers. For more information call 204-325-9707 or email michael.penner@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.

Can a person praise God by running a cash register? Can we bring glory to God by tinkering and repairing things? Can we bless our creator by pricing things or hanging clothing? We’re trying to, come and join us! The Gospel Echoes Thrift Store in Winkler is seeking volunteers. If you’re interested, call Chris at 325-0095 or email mr.chrispauls@gmail.com.
