WINKLER

It’s finally starting to feel like spring as Winkler Bible Camp’s Kids Zone moves into the second half of its spring semester! It has been truly been a joy spending the last 7 Saturday morning with all your beautiful children! Please keep us in your prayers as we work on figuring out how to bring as many kids to Kids Zone as possible, knowing that the more kids that come, the more kids we can teach about Jesus. On that note, do you have kids grade 1-6 who need something to do on Saturday mornings? Kids Zone runs every Saturday morning, 10:00 to 11:30, until June 14th at Winkler Elementary School (unless otherwise specified) and we’re always hoping for more kids to come out and join us for the fun. Get ready for an awesome time of singing, games, prizes, and creative Bible teaching. For more information visit www.winklerbiblecamp.com or get in touch with Jordan Phillips via email (kidszone@winklerbiblecamp.com) or phone (204-325-9519).

Want to volunteer?  If you’re in grade 7 and up, arrive at 9:00 and you can help out with doing actions, handing out candy, and just hanging out with the kids who come! Also, if you play an instrument or would like to help with Kids Zone during the week, remember to ask about the music team or visitations.

Winkler Bible Camp is looking for volunteers to help put up some drywall in our new Dining Hall! If you have any experience with tools, we’d love to see you here! Please contact Dale at the camp if you are interested in lending a hand. Call 325-9519 or email dale@winklerbiblecamp.com .

Do you have an hour a week to make a difference for a child in your community? Our mission at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morden-Winkler is to provide mentors to children who need a mentor. We can think of no one better to mentor a child than people of faith. Currently, we are looking for In-School Mentors and Big Brothers. For more information call 204-325-9707 or email michael.penner@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.

Can a person praise God by running a cash register? Can we bring glory to God by tinkering and repairing things? Can we bless our creator by pricing things or hanging clothing? We’re trying to, come and join us! The Gospel Echoes Thrift Store in Winkler is seeking volunteers. If you’re interested, call Chris at 325-0095 or email mr.chrispauls@gmail.com.
