WINKLER

Winkler Bible Camp’s spring Kids Zone semester is quickly nearing the end! With only two weeks left, we are looking back and wondering where on earth the time has gone. We are so thankful for the God given opportunity we’ve had to connect with and build into the lives of your kids! Please keep us in your prayers as we learn how to be effective in bringing the gospel message to a level that they can understand and apply. On that note, do you have kids grade 1-6 who need something to do on Saturday mornings? Kids Zone runs every Saturday morning, 10:00 to 11:30, until June 14th at Winkler Elementary School (unless otherwise specified) and we’re always hoping for more kids to come out and join us for the fun. Get ready for an awesome time of singing, games, prizes, and creative Bible teaching. For more information visit www.winklerbiblecamp.com or get in touch with Jordan Phillips via email (kidszone@winklerbiblecamp.com) or phone (204-325-9519).

Want to volunteer?  If you’re in grade 7 and up, arrive at 9:00 and you can help out with doing actions, handing out candy, and just hanging out with the kids who come! Also, if you play an instrument or would like to help with Kids Zone during the week, remember to ask about the music team or visitations.

Winkler Bible Camp is looking for a full time cook. If you are interested please contact Mark at the camp. 204-325-9519.

Do you have an hour a week to make a difference for a child in your community? Our mission at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morden-Winkler is to provide mentors to children who need a mentor. We can think of no one better to mentor a child than people of faith. Currently, we are looking for In-School Mentors and Big Brothers. For more information call 204-325-9707 or email michael.penner@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.

You might want to call it a break from everyday life, a Christian service opportunity or a regular outing with a friend. The Gospel Echoes Thrift Store has many volunteer opportunities that require a variety of gifts. Right now the store is particularly in need of receiving staff, cashiers and pricing staff. Come help us as we support the Gospel Echoes Team in their ministry to Western Canadian Prisons! Interested? Call Chris Pauls 204-332-0400 or email mr.chrispauls@gmail.com.
