Jody (Joseph) Dillow came to Christ while majoring in Electrical Engineering at Oregon State University in 1963. Upon graduation he went to Dallas Theological Seminary where he majored in New Testament Greek.  Jody and his wife Linda formed an organization called BEE World (Biblical Education by Extension).  BEE World is now developing a team to produce interactive, multimedia rich; computer based training versions of biblical training courses.  These courses are currently available in eight languages in 120 countries.

Thursday March 24, at 7:00 pm Wycliffe Bible Translators’ Jean Reimer speaks at Grace Mennonite Church. Jean spent 17 years in literacy and Bible Translation in West Africa. She continues her work at her home in Steinbach, and is now also the administrative assistant to the Wycliffe Canada Board in Calgary. She will speak of aspects of Bible translation that have to do with differences in culture.  Finger-food snack.

The Eden Foundation would like to invite you to the Winkler Community Male Choir’s Easter performance on Saturday, April 16th, 7:30 pm at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 252 6th Street, Winkler.  Come and be blessed by the choir’s message of HOPE as they perform Easter songs and songs from their newly released CD, ‘He Never Failed Me’.  An opportunity will be given to support Eden’s Mental Health Recovery programs.  For more information check Eden’s website www.edenhealth.mb.ca   or call 204-325-5355.

Kids Zone, a free children’s ministry of Winkler Bible Camp is starting up March 5 at the WES gym.  KZ is a high energy time of games, prizes, singing and an exciting teaching time.  It goes from 10:00-11:30 a.m. and will run every Saturday morning until May 28 for kids in grades 1-6.  There is also opportunity for grades 7 and up to volunteer to help out.  For more information contact Steve Klassen at 325-9519 or steve@winklerbiblecamp.com.
